> The Snow Warriors meeting of February 6th was called to order at > 7:05 by President Andy Myers. Twenty two people enjoyed a pot luck > dinner. The club approved the minutes to the last meeting and the > treasurers report. > We have 282 members to date. > Andy thanked the 8 men who received Trail Grooming Seminar > certificates from the Salisbury Ridgerunners Club on Jan. 16th. They > stressed the importance of documenting all the work the groomers do esp. > when applying for any grant money. > Feb. 13- Poker Run - We have 10 stops including to the ice shanty > on Indian Lake, and one in Blue Mt. Lake and the remainder are in town. > One person per stamp at each business and draw your own cards. Rhonda > and Diane will sign people up. > Bruce made a motion for this to be a fund raiser for our club. Dick > seconded , and the motion was passed. Half the take will go to the club > and half will be paid out to the riders. We will run a 50/50 raffle in > the morning and at the I.L. Restaurant. > New Business as follows: > Club trip to Canada is next week- There are rooms left so call Doug > if you're interested. > Mike Carr form the Nature Conservancy will be at the town meeting > Monday night to talk about the trail to Newcomb that may be open next > year. The Snow Warriors will offer to groom half way- about 22 miles > of woods road. > Sat. March 6th- Club ride to Sabattis- meet at one stop at 8AM > Sat. March 13th- Steak roast at Headquarters (bad weather at Bryon > Park) Bring a dish to pass and we'll eat at 1:00 Call Doug to sign up. > Grooming: The club logged in 543 miles and 73 1/2 Hours for > January. All groomers are running. Club gas is at John Scott's. We have > an account with him and he'll bill the club once a month.
